■つゆ前にポップベリーを試食せり

つゆまえに ぽっぷべりを ししょくせり

Tasted a Popberry
A new varietry of mulberry
期待の苗にようやく数個の実が付いた。果物の味は取る時期、食べ方等により変わる。昔食
べた桑の実の味も忘れた。しかし、香りは紛れもなく桑のものだた。蚕を思い出してしまう。
At last the new varietry of mulberry named Popberry bore several fruits.
I hoped the taste of Popberry may be good. The tastes of fruits change
according to when to be picked and how to be tasted.
I forgot the taste of the mulberry I ate when I was a child.
But, obviously the fragrance of Popberry was that of
mulberry. I remembered the silkworms.
